This is a site for Cocoa, iPhone, iPad, and iPod developers and companies to list their events. If you are running a conference, seminar, or training event please register and add your event here.
This is a community portal, feel free to collaborate, share news, events and links. Go ahead and register or just browse news and events. You can list your event here for free. Please limit your listings to events that are of interest to the community. When you register, please don't use a critical secret password because I haven't implemented SSL yet (and not sure I will, if you think that is critically important, please send feedback).
Once you've registered, click the 'Add->Event' link next to your user name in the menu bar. Fill in the details of your event, and save. After saving, visit the content tab, select the entries you want to publish, and change their state to 'Submit for Publishing.' using the 'Change State' button.

You will be prompted to set some publishing parameters, such as start date, etc., and you can then 'Submit for Publication.' I will then review your entry, and if it is on topic, non-inflammatory, and useful I will approve it and it will be posted here. If you want to help out by becoming a moderator, please contact me. Entry reviewing is purely to keep out spam and off-topic content. I've added some events to bootstrap the site - if you want me to remove your event (either because you don't want it listed, or you want to re-list it so that you own the content instead of it being my content in order to fix factual errors), please let me know.
This site is run by Chris Walters. Disclaimer: I run iPhone training courses in the UK and I also work for a company that provides programming services; however, this site is not affiliated with the company and is intended to be a non-commercial community resource.
For UK developer gatherings, you can also see a great list maintained by @samdeane.
I'm not a web designer - if you want to help improve this site's design or think you can help in some other way I'm all ears.
To add an event you need to register.
After registering, click 'Add->Event' from the menu bar, next to your user name. A form will be displayed. Once you've filled in all the event details, click 'Save'.
Once edited, the content stays in a 'Private' state until you 'Submit for Publication.' Any submitted content will be reviewed by the moderator (at this point, me) and if I find it meets my criteria for suitability of topic, non-spam nature, etc., I will approve it and it will show up in the events list.
When looking at your event description (after saving), choose the 'Submit' action link at the bottom of the event display to submit it for publication.
I'm still working out the "kinks" of this CMS tool and will endeavor to make it easier to add events and content going forward. Thanks for visiting and I hope you find the site useful.
We don't list jobs here but you can check out these sites.
